On February 14th 2019, Academy of Justice within its Initial Training Program for the newly appointed judges (generation VI) is conducting the training under the Module of Criminal Procedure Code, the sub-module: The defendant in the criminal proceeding.
Topics to be covered in this training are: 1) position of the defendant after the indictment is raised; 2) the defendant during the procedure for assessing legitimacy of the indictment; 3) the defendant during the judicial hearing and the right to exercise legal remedies; 4) timelines for utilizing the legal remedies; 5) the rights and obligations of the defendant during the trial hearing session, etc.
Beneficiaries of this training are the newly appointed judges (generation VI) 2017-2018.
