On April 24, 2020, the Academy of Justice, within the Initial Training Program conducted a (1) training session under the sub-module: "Juvenile Justice Code", with trainer Mr. Burim Qerkin - Prosecutor in the Special Prosecution Office.
The topics covered were: the general provisions that characterize the criminal proceedings against juveniles, the urgency of the proceedings and the short deadlines, the non-trial of juveniles in absentia and the principle of confidentiality and opportunity.
During today's training, which took place in a virtual form, the newly appointed prosecutors had the opportunity to talk and ask questions about the topics that were addressed, including also the practical case.
Participants in the training are 12 newly appointed prosecutors of the VIII generation, 2019-2020.
