June 11-14, Budva-Montenegro, Academy of Justice under the auspices of OSCE is conducting a workshop for judges of Mitrovica region.
Topics that will be elaborated during this workshop are: Human rights standards and guarantees for a fair trial, trial within a reasonable time and other requirements from Chapter 23 and 24 of the EU Acquis, conditions for admission to European Union, work of the Supreme Court pertaining to extraordinary legal remedies, as well as new provisions of the Criminal Code for offences of official corruption and offences against official duty, domestic violence and sexual harassment, including latest developments in the process of drafting amendments to the Criminal Procedure Code.
