Protection of the rights of children without parental care and in cases of change of their status

On September 05-06, 2023, the Academy of Justice within the Continuous Training Program in cooperation with GIZ, is conducting the Training on the topic "Protection of the rights of children without parental care and in cases of change of their status".

Trainers engaged in this training are: Mr. Valon Totaj, President of the Appeals Court and Mr. Lumni Sallauka, Judge at the Appeals Court.

The purpose of this training is to advance the knowledge of the participants regarding the handling and addressing of the challenges of judicial practice related to the implementation of material and procedural provisions from the field of family law.

The training methodology is of a combined character with theoretical explanations and interactive discussions, also presenting practical cases.

Beneficiaries of this training are: Judges of the Court of Appeal and Basic Courts as well as officials from the Agency for Free Legal Aid.
