Sub-module: International Legal Cooperation in Civil Matters; Second session: International Legal Cooperation in Civil Matters

On September 5, 2023, the Academy of Justice within the Initial Training Program, for the newly appointed prosecutors of the tenth generation, is carrying out the theoretical training under the module on "International Legal Cooperation in the Civil Field", conducted by the trainer Mr. Zenel Leku, Judge at the Supreme Court.

This session is addressing the following: the procedure for international legal cooperation in the civil field for requests originating from Kosovo; the procedure for international legal cooperation in the civil field, for requests originating from foreign countries and addressed to Kosovo; Jurisdiction on the basis of the Contested Procedure Law (CPL), Jurisdiction according to the Arbitration Law; The Hague Conference on Private International Law (IHL), the European Union - Legal regulations in the field of European civil procedure and the Minsk Convention.

The training methodology is interactive discussions and practical cases.

Beneficiaries of the training are 21 newly appointed prosecutors 2023/2024.
