Sub-module: Criminal Code-general part; Fourteenth session - Statute of Limitation

On September 12, 2023, the Academy of Justice, within the Initial Training Program for the newly appointed judges of the tenth generation, is carrying out the theoretical training under the module on "Criminal Code - general part", held by the trainer Mr. Burim Ademi, judge at the Appeals Court - Special Department.

This session is addressing the following: the statute of limitations for criminal prosecution, the initiation and termination of the statute of limitations for criminal prosecution, the statute of limitations for the execution of sentences, the beginning and termination of the statute of limitation for description of the execution of the sentence, and non-application of the description for certain criminal offences.

The training methodology is interactive method and practical cases.

Beneficiaries of the training are 29 newly appointed judges including one member from the Bosnian community and one from the Turkish community.
