Sub-module: The role of the judge in the preliminary procedure; Second session: The role of the judge in the preliminary procedure in determining and continuing the measures to ensure presence of the defendant in the criminal procedure.

On September 6, 2023, the Academy of Justice within the Initial Training Program for the newly appointed judges of the tenth generation is carrying out the theoretical training under the module "The role of the judge in the preliminary procedure", held by the trainer Mr. Agim Maliqi, Judge at the Supreme Court.

This session is addressing the following: the powers of the preliminary procedure judge and orders and decisions for the temporary freezing and sequestration of assets.

The training methodology is being developed through the interactive method and practical cases.

Beneficiaries of the training are 29 newly appointed judges including one member from the Bosnian community and one from the Turkish community.
