Sub-module: Role of the judge in the preliminary procedure; First session: The role of the judge in the preliminary procedure

On September 5, 2023, the Academy of Justice within the Initial Training Program, for the newly appointed judges of the tenth generation, is carrying out the theoretical training under the module "The role of the judge in the preliminary procedure", held by the trainer Mr. Agim Maliqi, Judge at the Supreme Court.

This session is covering the following: the powers and role of the judge in the pre-trial procedure, the role of the pre-trial judge in the case of issuing technical measures of observation and investigation and the basic principles related to expertise that are within the competence of the pre-trial judge.

The training methodology is being developed through the interactive method and practical cases.

Beneficiaries of the training are 29 newly appointed judges including one member from the Bosnian community and one from the Turkish community.
