Sub-module: Initial and Second Hearing; Second Session: Plea Bargaining Agreement, Plea at the Initial Hearing and Sentencing

On September 27, 2023, the Academy of Justice within the Initial Training Program for the newly appointed judges of the tenth generation, is conducting the "Initial and Second Hearing" module, delivered by the trainer Mr. Afrim Shala, Judge of the Supreme Court.

This topic is covering the following: the plea bargaining agreement, the admission of guilt, the refusal to plead guilty, the decision on the admission of guilt and the further procedure, the receipt of the verdict and the imposition of the sentence, the content of the verdict and the announcement of the judgment.

The training methodology is interactive discussions and case-based.

Beneficiaries of the training are 29 newly appointed judges including one member from the Bosnian community and the other from the Turkish community.
