Sub-module: Initial and second hearing; First session: actions of the judge in the initial and second hearing (practical case, brief summary, case improvisation)

On September 26, 2023, the Academy of Justice within the Initial Training Program for the newly appointed judges of the tenth generation is conducting the second training session from the module "Initial and second hearing", conducted by the trainer Mr. Afrim Shala, Judge of the Supreme Court.

This topic is covering the following aspects: the actions of the police officers, the actions of the state prosecutor and the preliminary procedure judge, the actions of the presiding judge during the initial hearing, the actions of the defendant and his defense, and the decision of the presiding judge of the judge’s panel.

The training methodology is interactive discussions and case-based method.

Beneficiaries of the training are 29 newly appointed judges including one member from the Bosnian community and one from the Turkish community.
