Please be informed that the call for applications for the next online course that will be organized by the Council of Europe through the HELP platform, on the topic of Asylum and human rights, has been opened.
The launch of the course is on January 27, 2022, and it starts to be implemented from March 2022.
As you may be informed, the HELP platform is a self-learning platform which publishes the materials prepared by the best experts of the area, translated into Albanian language. And the participant attending the course is able to read them, one module – 1week duration, whenever it suits their weekly agenda. It is thought that it only takes 2 hours of time to complete a module.
This course has the following modules:
- Introduction to Asylum and human rights;
- Non-deportation - the right to life and prevention of ill-treatment;
- Custody and admission;
- The right to family life and asylum;
- The right to effective remedies.
The course duration is 5-6 weeks and successful participants upon completion will be issued a certificate.
