Kosovo Justice Academy and the Basel Institute for Governance - International Center for Asset Recovery, as an implementing partner of the UNDP Office in Kosovo, are pleased to offer training opportunities for criminal judges and prosecutors in training on the topic: Financial Investigations and Asset Recovery, that will take place from March 20 to 24, 2023.
The main goal of this training program is to intensify and build investigative capacities in Kosovo to successfully investigate and pursue cases of corruption and money laundering, as well as asset recovery. Focusing on gaining thorough knowledge of the elements of corruption and money laundering offenses in Kosovo legislation, and improving understanding of the legal and practical processes and procedures for recovering assets abroad, investigators and prosecutors will develop the required skills.
